Pricing

Pricing, Payments & Ownership

How much does a website cost?

Our website packages start at £500 for a single landing page and go up to £1,500 for a full eCommerce build. Business Starter is £750 for up to five pages, and Business Pro is £1,200 for up to ten pages with a blog and analytics. Every price is fixed and agreed before we start — you will not be billed hourly or surprised by extras later.

How much does branding or a logo cost?

Logo design starts at £300, which includes three concepts, two rounds of revisions and your source files. Brand Essentials is £800 and adds colour palette, typography, usage guidelines and a social kit. A full brand system is £1,200+ and includes complete guidelines, iconography, photography direction and marketing collateral.

Do you offer payment plans or monthly options?

Projects are usually split as a deposit up front with the balance due on delivery or at agreed milestones. Monthly support plans are also available for ongoing care — covering maintenance, content updates, SEO and ongoing improvements — starting at £150 per month.

Are prices really fixed, or will there be extras?

They are genuinely fixed. We scope the work properly before quoting, so the number you agree is the number you pay. If you decide to add something later that was not in the original scope, we will quote for that separately and you can decide whether it is worth doing.

Who owns the website and design files?

You do. All files — design source files, logos and assets — belong to you once the project is complete. You are not locked into us to make changes, and we will hand everything over at the end of the project.

Process

Process & Timelines

How long does a project take?

Most projects run between eight and twelve weeks from kickoff to launch. Discovery takes one to two weeks, brand development two to four, and the build four to six. Smaller projects such as a landing page or a logo can be considerably quicker — a landing page is typically around a week.

What does the process actually look like?

Four phases: Deep Discovery, Brand Evolution, Strategic Build, and Launch & Growth. Discovery establishes the commercial objective and the KPIs. Brand develops the identity. Build creates the website. Launch is when we start measuring and refining against what we agreed at the start. You can see the full breakdown on our Process page.

How much of my time will this take?

Less than you might expect. A focused session at the start, then roughly an hour at each review milestone. Because you work directly with the people doing the work, there is no account manager to brief and no layers of relay — which in practice means less of your time, not more.

Do we have to do all four phases?

No. If you already have a strong brand identity, we may move straight from Discovery into the build. If your website works well and the brand is the problem, the reverse applies. The phases are the order of the work, not a fixed package, and we will say plainly if you need less than you expected.

What happens after the site launches?

Launch is the start of the measurement, not the end of the project. We monitor performance against the KPIs set during Discovery, refine pages based on how visitors actually behave, and stay available as your business changes. You are not handed a website and left with it.

Working together

Working With Jones Digital

Do I work directly with the designer?

Yes. You work directly with the people responsible for your project — no account managers, no relays, no junior team picking up the brief halfway through. It is the single biggest practical difference between working with a specialist and with a larger agency.

Can you work with my existing website instead of rebuilding it?

Often, yes. Plenty of sites that look like they need rebuilding actually need clearer messaging, a stronger enquiry path and faster pages. We will tell you honestly which applies before recommending a rebuild — a new website is an expensive way to discover the old one was fine.

What do you need from me during the project?

Your time at the start, mostly. Discovery works best when the decision makers are in the room and can give clear answers about objectives and constraints. After that, you review work at agreed points rather than approving every small step.

Do you only work with businesses in South Wales?

We work with businesses across South Wales and remotely in the UK — from Cardiff, Pontypridd, Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil and the Valleys, to clients further afield. The process runs the same way regardless of where you are.

Do you offer ongoing support and maintenance?

Yes. Ongoing website maintenance and support is available on a monthly plan, covering updates and content changes, technical maintenance, performance monitoring, backups and security, SEO checks and priority support. Plans start at £150 per month — see the pricing page for what each level includes.

What if I am not sure what I need yet?

That is what the free consultation is for. We will look at your situation, tell you honestly what would move the needle first, and give you an indication of cost — with no obligation to proceed. Many clients come to that call unsure whether they need a website, a brand, or both.

Jones Digital Hub

Your Client Workspace

What is the Jones Digital Hub?

It is your dedicated client workspace — the one place your project lives while we work on it. Instead of chasing updates across email threads, shared drives and phone calls, everything sits together in the Hub: progress, designs to review, feedback, requests and your files. Every project comes with it as standard.

Is the Hub included in the price?

Yes, where it applies to your project. The Hub is not an add-on or an upsell — it is included as standard on website and branding projects, ready from the day we start. If your work with us is something other than a project, we will be clear about what does and does not apply before you commit to anything.

What can I do inside the Hub?

Track the project and see what is done, what is next and what we need from you. Review and approve designs, leaving feedback in one place rather than an email chain. Submit requests and changes, which stay attached to the project they belong to. Access your files and brand assets — logos, website files and documents — whenever you need them. And communicate with us directly, without messages being passed down a chain.

Do I need to pay for or set up the Hub?

No. There is no separate software to buy, nothing to install and no licence to manage. We set it up and you get access when your project starts — you do not need to configure anything or pay for a third-party tool.

Can I access the Hub after my project is finished?

Yes — you keep access to your workspace and your files after the project wraps up, including your logos, brand assets and website files. If you move on to further work with us later, the same workspace picks up where it left off.
