Project Overview

An established architecture practice needed a brand refresh and a complete suite of marketing collateral. Their existing materials were a mix of outdated templates and inconsistent layouts — fine for day-to-day but undermining them in competitive pitches. The brief was to create an identity system and collateral that reflected the precision, elegance, and attention to detail their buildings are known for.

What We Did

  • Designed a minimalist logo — a precise geometric mark derived from architectural grid systems, paired with a refined sans-serif wordmark set in tracked-out capitals
  • Developed a restrained monochromatic colour palette — charcoal, warm grey, and off-white — with a single accent colour (deep blue) used sparingly for emphasis in presentations and proposals
  • Created a complete stationery suite — letterhead, business cards, compliment slips, envelopes, and email signatures — all designed with the same grid-based precision as the logo
  • Built proposal and presentation templates in InDesign with a flexible grid system — making it easy for the firm's team to create polished pitch documents without design support
  • Designed a large-format portfolio brochure with full-bleed project photography, elegant typography, and considered white space — a physical book that feels like an architectural monograph

Team adoption of templates

The firm reported a 60% increase in pitch win rate after adopting the new materials. The InDesign templates were particularly impactful — the team could produce pitch documents in hours instead of days, and the consistent presentation quality meant clients perceived the firm as larger and more established than before.
