Project Overview

A fintech startup preparing for their Series A needed a brand identity that would inspire confidence with investors and trust with early users. They had a working name and a rough idea of their audience, but no visual identity. Our brief was to build a complete brand system from scratch — one that communicated innovation and reliability in equal measure.

What We Did

  • Designed a clean, precise logo mark that combines a geometric monogram with an abstract growth symbol — conveying both technical expertise and forward momentum
  • Developed a colour system anchored in deep navy and teal, with a warm accent palette for data visualisations and UI elements — balancing professionalism with approachability
  • Selected and paired a modern sans-serif heading family with a highly-readable body font, creating clear typographic hierarchy for both marketing pages and dense financial interfaces
  • Created a comprehensive icon set — 80+ custom icons covering financial concepts, UI actions, and product features — designed to be consistent at sizes from 16px to 64px
  • Delivered a 40-page brand guideline document covering logo usage, colour specifications, typography rules, imagery style, tone of voice, and application examples for web, mobile, print, and social media
